Weinert Malbec 2006

Add to Cart:

Type of wine : Fine Dry Red wine

Tasting notes and characteristics:

There is no doubt the dry red wine made from Malbec grapes are the more characteristic wine produced in Argentina, specifically Lujan de Cuyo, where this French grape adapted stupendously to the ground and weather conditions of the region.

The Weinert Mlbec is particularly known for the deep red colour with violet tinges they have when new. When aged for a while, they get a beautiful ruby colour, just purple, while the particular fragrance changes by its intensity to a surprising bouquet, mainly when they were preserved in good French oak casks.

When tasting it results to be a good structured wine, solid, greasy, persistent with shades of mature fruits, or better, like dry fruits with vanilla touches. Weinert's malbec distinguishes by its extraordinary longevity.
